Job summary

Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness Center is hiring Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for full-time day-to-day patient support in Houston. The role involves one-on-one patient care, assisting with ADLs, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Texas.
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Assists patients to maintain their current level of function or to restore function of ADLs.
• Acts as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Complies with the Code of Conduct and corporate compliance.
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient information to ensure patients rights are protected.
• Uses appropriate equipment (lifts/gait belt) and follows policy when transferring patients.
• Changes patient bedding as necessary and makes unoccupied beds
• Serves and assist in tray set and assist in picking up trays/passes drinking water and ice
• Answers call bells timely reports issues to charge nurse

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Texas

CPR certification (preferred)
