Job summary

Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for full-time positions across three shifts (6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, 10PM-6AM). The role involves direct patient care in a one-on-one setting, assisting with ADLs and daily activities, and collaborating with the care team to uphold quality standards.

Requirements include High School Diploma or equivalent, Texas CNA certification, and CPR.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a one-on-one setting and pursue continuous skill development
• Assist patients to maintain or restore ADL function with compassion
• Support the interdisciplinary team and comply with Code of Conduct and privacy rules
• Assist with patient bedding, trays, and hydration
• Respond promptly to call bells and report issues to charge nurse

Responsibilities

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Assists patients to maintain their current level of function or to restore function of ADL’s
• Acts as an active member of the interdisciplinary team
• Complies with the Code of Conduct and corporate compliance
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient information to ensure patient’s rights are protected
• Uses appropriate equipment (lifts/gait belt) and follows policy when transferring patients.
• Changes patient bedding as necessary and makes unoccupied beds
• Serves and assist in tray set and assist in picking up trays/passes drinking water and ice
• Answers call bells timely reports issues to charge nurse

Must-Haves for Role

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nurse Aide in the State of TexasCPR certification (Required)
• Reliable transportation
