Plan A Health in Missouri seeks an RN to provide direct patient care in a 19-bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit. You’ll care for high-acuity post-operative patients across transplant, hepatobiliary, ENT, plastic, orthopedic microsurgery, trauma, and geriatrics.
Role involves assessment, planning, education, and collaboration with the team to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while addressing holistic patient needs and family education.
Provides direct patient care in a 19-bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit, caring for high-acuity post-operative patients from diverse surgical specialties including transplant, hepatobiliary, ENT, plastic, orthopedic microsurgery, trauma, and geriatrics.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medications. Promotes patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Communicates care plans effectively, considering patients' physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
Valid RN license with a nursing diploma or associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. No prior experience necessary; less than two years preferred. Both new graduates and experienced nurses are welcome.
Critical nursing assessment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
