Qualifications

• RN license or nursing diploma/associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Critical care or Phase I PACU experience required; 2+ years preferred.

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment within the PACU, managing diverse surgical cases including neuro, transplants, orthopedic, ENT, cardiac, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting safety, quality, and patient-centered care. Educates patients and families on post-treatment management and collaborates with the interprofessional team to develop individualized care plans. Uses critical judgment to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Critical care or Phase 1 PACU experience essential; 2+ years of experience preferred.
