CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. seeks an RN to provide direct care in a fast-paced PACU, evaluating and planning patient care and educating patients and families on post-treatment needs. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and collaboration across care transitions.

The nurse will participate in recovery for various surgeries, with rotating shifts including nights and call shifts, and is eligible for comprehensive benefits and a signing bonus.

Qualifikationen

• RN license required; BSN preferred, ADN considered.
• Experience in critical care or PACU preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication use. Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, fostering professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care transitions. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations. Maintains alertness and safety as a core requirement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in critical care or PACU preferred.
• RN license required; BSN preferred, ADN considered.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position with a commitment to safety, kindness, safety, excellence, respect, and teamwork.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
