Job summary

Soccer Shots Boston is seeking an energetic Full Time Children's Soccer Coach to inspire the next generation of players and combine your love of soccer with shaping young minds through sport. If you thrive in a fun, active environment and love working with kids, we want to hear from you!

You will plan and deliver engaging sessions, create a safe environment, teach dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork, and communicate with parents about progress.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting.
• Strong soccer knowledge and background as a player or coach.
• Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
• High energy, enthusiastic, and naturally engaging with kids.
• Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across Boston, MA.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants
• Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress
• Manage group behavior and maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout sessions
• Travel to various program locations throughout the Boston area
• Assist with program setup, breakdown, and equipment management
