The Old Colony YMCA in Brockton, MA is seeking a Part-time Childcare Teacher Assistant to support daily activities and supervise children in a safe, educational environment.

Shifts are 6:45 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role offers opportunities to develop practical child development skills and build lasting relationships with youth and families.

Formación

• Minimum age 16.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.

Our childcare center is in search of qualified workers to help monitor and lead activities throughout the day. This job will help you develop excellent skills and techniques that can benefit you in both your personal life and in future careers in child development.

We are seeking to employ a Childcare Teacher Assistant in our Brockton location.

Part time positions are hourly 15-25 hours weekly M-F shifts range between 6:45 am and 5:30 pm.

Job Summary

The Teacher Assistant will help plan and implement a program of activities, which will ensure each child’s personal safety while providing enrichment, physical challenges and learning experiences. The Teacher Assistant will uphold the employee code of conduct and will ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities reflect the mission of the Old Colony Y, and the regulating agency.

Education/Experience/Physical Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
