Job summary

Meadow Lakes, a Springpoint Senior Living Community in East Windsor, NJ, is seeking a full-time Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for night and weekend shifts. You will support patients with daily living activities under licensed staff guidance, promoting independence and comfort in the home environment.

Responsibilities include health observation, care plan adherence, transfers, personal care, meals, and companionship, with a strong emphasis on documentation and family communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NJ CHHA License required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patient health conditions and maintain daily records for family or supervisor.
• Guide patients in prescribed exercises per care plan.
• Assist with transferring (in/out of bed, to wheelchairs) as needed.
• Assist with bathing, skin care, grooming, dressing and undressing.
• Record patient care details and report observations.
• Change bed linens and clean patient areas.
• Provide emotional support and engage patients in conversation or reading.
• Serve meals per prescribed diets and assist with post-meal cleanup.
• Encourage participation in activities and accompany patients to events.

Education
