Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of prior Operating Room CST experience.
• CST certification is required.
• Current BLS required.
• One year of Total Joint, Complex Spine, and Arthroscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Apply knowledge of instruments, equipment, and supplies used in the OR.
• Organize instruments and supplies for efficiency.
• Participate in a rotational call system to ensure patient services.
• Follow guidelines for sterile field setup and instrument care.
• Maintain knowledge of OR procedures and update accordingly.
• Restock Operating Room supplies as caseload allows.
• Assist circulating nurse with physician preference cards.
