Job summary
Lenape Valley Foundation is seeking a full-time Certified Peer Specialist to join the Bright Path Center in Doylestown, PA. You will apply your lived recovery experience to provide trauma-informed, person-centered peer support during crisis moments and help individuals feel heard and empowered as they navigate care options.
Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and the ability to document in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Self-identify as an individual in recovery from a mental health condition.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to drive throughout Bucks County.
- Ability to document effectively in an electronic health records system.
- Strong computer proficiency with MS Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed, peer-based support in a crisis environment.
- Engage in one-on-one interactions and emotional support during crises.
- Help individuals navigate services and access community resources.
- Promote a safe, welcoming, trauma-informed environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care.
- Transport individuals to appointments and recovery supports as appropriate.
- Promote recovery‑oriented language and practices program-wide.
