Job summary

The Fountains of Cartersville is seeking Certified Medication Technicians to perform medication administration and resident care oversight within a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

This full-time position for 1st shift (7a-3p) requires completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course and appropriate certifications. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend and holiday rotations, contributing to a compassionate, compliant care team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• PCA or CNA certification required and current.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medication administration to residents.
• Oversees resident care and supports quality care delivery.
• Attends in-service trainings and continuing education as required by state regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families and interdisciplinary team.
• Adheres to community policies, safety protocols and proper documentation.
