Job summary

Encompass Medical Group in Lenexa, KS is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift (8:30am-5:00pm). The MA will support patient flow, perform basic procedures, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus after probation and a second bonus after one year of service, plus a competitive benefits package including PTO, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must have a certifiable Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Active MA certification from a recognized body.
• Strong administrative and patient-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures and prepare patients for visits.
• Maintain patient flow and document care in the EMR.
• Coordinate care with providers and external specialists.
• Assist with prior authorizations and referrals as needed.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and stocked supplies.
• Support team with administrative tasks and phone triage.
