Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent, verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• 7-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required for those interviewed.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective classroom, range, and behind-the-wheel instruction in CDL operations.
• Teach knowledge, skills, and competencies for safe operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Demonstrate and evaluate vehicle control, backing, and driving maneuvers.
• Prepare students to successfully complete CDL knowledge and skills testing.
• Maintain records of attendance, progress, and grading per college policies.
• Advise students on academic and employment opportunities.
