Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service
2. Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
3. Engages with customers to understand needs and assists with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
4. Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee inquiries, guiding them through projects when needed.
5. Shows genuine appreciation to customers and communicates information about stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties.
6. Coordinates with customers and truck drivers regarding deliveries.

In-stock

1. Plans delivery activities, prepares loading tickets, and ensures on-time delivery.
2. Pulls merchandise, prepares delivery loads, and loads trucks according to schedule and payload limits.
3. Inspects products before loading or assisting customers with loading.
4. Verifies invoice items with loaded quantities, descriptions, and model numbers.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Updates delivery and route status in the system for tracking.
3. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
4. Maintains vehicle safety and cleanliness, reports issues, and completes DOT documentation.
5. Detects security risks like shoplifting and reports them promptly.
6. Maintains store cleanliness and organization, and ensures a safe work environment.
7. Follows safety protocols, operates store equipment as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with specific endorsements, depending on location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening and obtain necessary licensure.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Compliance with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• 3 months of forklift or Moffett operation experience.
