Job description

Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service
2. Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies and procedures.
3. Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
4. Responds promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed.
5. Expresses sincere appreciation to customers.
6. Shares information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
7. Coordinates delivery with customers and truck drivers.

In-stock

1. Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and ensures on-time delivery.
2. Prepares merchandise, builds and bands loads, and loads trucks within payload limits.
3. Inspects products before loading or assisting with loading.
4. Verifies invoice items against loaded quantities.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Updates delivery and route status in tracking systems.
3. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
4. Performs vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness, and reports issues.
5. Completes DOT reporting for certification and compliance.
6. Detects and reports security risks like shoplifting or theft.
7. Maintains store cleanliness and organization.
8. Follows safety protocols, including the use of safety devices and equipment.
9. Operates store equipment as required by the role.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with specific endorsements, depending on location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening and obtain necessary licenses.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• Experience driving semi-trucks/trailers or certification from a driving school.
• Experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• Experience operating forklifts or Moffett equipment.

Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.90 per hour.
