Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service:

• Provide SMART customer service consistently by following Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and assist with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed.
• Show genuine appreciation to customers.
• Communicate information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
• Coordinate with customers and truck drivers regarding deliveries.

In-stock:

• Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise on schedule.
• Pull merchandise, prepare delivery loads, and load trucks within payload limits.
• Inspect products before loading or assisting customers with loading.
• Verify invoice items with loaded quantities by checking descriptions, items, and model numbers.

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Update delivery and route status in the system for tracking.
• Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report repairs.
• Complete DOT reporting to maintain certification and compliance.
• Detect security risks like shoplifting and communicate promptly to management.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization following safety standards.
• Ensure a safe work environment by conducting safety reviews and addressing hazards.
• Operate store equipment as needed based on specific role and department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A CDL License (required for multi-unit CMV locations) or Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement (for single-unit CMV locations).
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Ability to obtain necessary sales-related licensure or registration.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• 3 months of forklift or Moffett operation experience.
