Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service
2. Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe's policies and procedures.
3. Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
4. Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed.
5. Expresses sincere appreciation to customers.
6. Communicates product and service information, including stock, special orders, benefits, applications, and warranties.
7. Coordinates delivery with customers and truck drivers.

In-stock

1. Plans and executes delivery activities, ensuring on-time delivery.
2. Prepares and loads merchandise according to schedule and delivery order.
3. Inspects products before loading and assists customers with loading when needed.
4. Verifies invoice items with loaded quantities.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
2. Updates delivery and route status in tracking systems.
3. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
4. Maintains vehicle inspections, cleanliness, and repairs.
5. Completes DOT reporting for certification and compliance.
6. Detects security risks and reports them promptly.
7. Maintains store cleanliness and organization.
8. Ensures a safe work environment through safety reviews and hazard reporting.
9. Operates store equipment as required.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with endorsements, depending on location.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain necessary licensure or registration.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic arithmetic.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• One year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• Six months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• Three months operating a forklift or similar equipment.
