Job summary

Presbyterian Village North is actively seeking a Full Time Catering/Events Supervisor. The role oversees all catered and on-site events, coordinating with clients, managing staff, and ensuring service excellence across multiple event types.

A strong emphasis on safety, budgeting, and high sanitation standards is required to deliver high-quality experiences for residents, families, staff, and prospects. We value teamwork in Forefront Living's care-focused community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Food Handlers Certification is required.
• Three years of experience in catering or related food service area.
• Associate degree and one year, or combination of experience and higher education equal to three years.
• Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format.
• Knowledge of food preparation, presentation and customer service.
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
• Proficient with computers and software programs, such as Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all catered events, including in-house, off-site and corporate events.
• Plan and coordinate catering, including meetings with clients and service activities.
• Ensure cost effective pricing and generate revenue from events.
• Supervise staff during events to ensure high quality service.
• Meet with clients to coordinate event details and special requests.
• Create function sheets and coordinate food/beverage services.
• Communicate layouts/diagrams of events and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage labor schedules within budget and stay aware of safety policies.
