Your Day at Lowe's

Whether answering customer questions or assisting with payments and exchanges, your role as a cashier is to ensure every customer leaves satisfied. Most of your time will be at the register, but you may also help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. If you enjoy helping customers and solving problems in a fast-paced environment, this role is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Assist customers proactively in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage cash register transactions, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Experience with computers, including data entry and access.
• Ability to lift at least 10 lbs unassisted, over 15 lbs with assistance.
• Obtain required sales-related licensure or registration if lawfully mandated.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.

Travel Requirements

Working Conditions
