Your Day at Lowe's
Your job as a cashier is to ensure every customer leaves satisfied. Most of your time will be at the register, but you may also assist in other activities like helping other departments, stocking shelves, or moving carts. If you enjoy helping customers and solving problems in a fast-paced environment, this role is ideal.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation
• Complete other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction), reading, and writing
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods
• Experience with computers (inputting, accessing, modifying information)
• Lift at least 10 lbs unassisted, over 15 lbs with assistance
• Obtain any required sales-related licensure or registration

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills
