Job summary

Cole Hardware is hiring a full-time cashier in San Francisco. You will deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale, greet customers, handle transactions, assist with locating products, and keep areas neat and organized. A friendly voice and willingness to help are essential.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED, prior cash handling experience, and availability on weekends/evenings. The role is 40 hours per week with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High School or GED equivalent. Cash handling experience a plus.
• Weekend and evening availability
• Full Time - 40 hours/week
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive representation of Cole Hardware.
• Greet every customer with a smile as they enter the store. Thank customers by name, when possible, when they are leaving the store.
• Follow all register transaction and cash handling procedures.
• Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
• Answer and monitor all phone calls and radio communications promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Help customers locate products and navigate the store.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging of merchandise.
• Ensure checkout and entrance areas remain neat and clean at all times.
• Assist with keeping impulse counters stocked and faced.
• All other duties as assigned, including training on general product knowledge and in-store services
