Job summary

The Chickasaw Nation is seeking a full-time Carpenter for its Community Services Construction Team at the Facilities and Maintenance division in Ada, Oklahoma. Work hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with duties including construction, maintenance, alteration and repair of facilities.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED, minimum 1 year related carpentry experience, basic cabinetry knowledge, ability to read blueprints, follow instructions, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of directly related carpentry experience requested.
• Basic cabinetry knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and apply blueprints and job orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, renovation, remodel and repair of structural elements.
• Assist with interior partitions by job order.
• Assist with blueprints and measurements.
• Record time and materials in WOM’s system.
• Maintain and store tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Follow OSHA standards and company policies.
• Subject to call-back for emergencies or weather.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
