Summary
We are currently looking for a Full Time Carpenter to join our Community Services Construction Team located at the Facilities and Maintenance working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Provides work in construction, maintenance, alteration and repair of facilities assigned to the Division of Property and Facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assists with construction, renovation, remodel, and repair of all structural elements related to assigned projects which may include (but not limited to) window and door installations, drywall installations and finishing, framing, roofing, plumbing, painting, insulation, trim and cabinets work
- Assists with demolishing and /or constructing interior building partitions by specified job order
- Assists with blueprints and measurements
- Completes assigned work orders and records time and material used with the WOM’s system
- Keeps tools, equipment and vehicles maintained and stored appropriately
- Adheres to accepted policy, codes and standards for the construction trade and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards
- Subject to 24-hour emergency and/or inclement weather call back
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Experience

- 1 year directly related experience
Education

- High School, GED or Equivalent
