Silverado in Azusa is hiring compassionate caregivers to support residents with memory impairment. You will assist with daily living activities, build relationships with residents and families, and help maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Successful candidates communicate effectively in English, can lift up to 50 lbs, and have reliable transportation. Opportunities include paid training and internal mobility within a recognized Great Place to Work in aging services.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: Full Time, PM shift, 4 days on / 2 days off

Anticipated pay range

$18 - $19 USD
