Silverado St. Charles, a memory care innovator, is hiring caregivers to support residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The role blends empathy and reliability in a team-focused environment, with paid training and growth opportunities.

Availability for full-time AM shifts, Tuesday through Saturday, is required. Anticipated pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Anticipated pay range: $19 USD - $21 USD
