Job summary

This role requires total assistance with ADLs, feeding, bathing, personal care, and constant health and safety monitoring in a family home.

The position is offered as an independent contractor, not an employee. Schedule is Monday to Friday, about 8 hours daily, with some time flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including feeding, bathing, brushing teeth, and personal care.
• Monitor health and safety and ensure a safe living environment.
• Encourage participation in home activities and community events; promote independence and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

Adult Female who lives in family home in need of full-time caregiver to assist with ADL's, feeding, bathing, brushing her teeth, and personal care and constant monitoring for health and safety. She requires total assistance.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays up to $17.00 hourly.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 8 hours each day, somewhat flexible on time 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. somewhat flexible on start and end times. The parent works from home and has some schedule flexibility.

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities

• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
