Job summary

Bridgeway Park Senior Living Community is seeking compassionate caregivers for a full-time night shift (7pm–7am) to support residents, especially those with dementia. You will administer medications, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have dementia caregiving experience, a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and the ability to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Dementia caregiving experience is preferred.
• Medication administration is part of the role.
• Strong patient care and safety focus required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Pass and document medications and injections according to medical charts.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe environment; support infection control procedures.
• Assess changes in condition and communicate with supervisor.
• Support other team members and complete charting accurately.
• Respond to call lights and assist with meals as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Able to pass a criminal background check.
