Job summary

Bridgeway Park Canton Senior Living Community is seeking compassionate professionals to join our team. We are expanding under new management to provide high-quality dementia care and daily support to residents.

We offer competitive salaries, benefits, growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment. First shift runs 7 AM to 3 PM with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors, especially with dementia.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Administer medications and injections per medical charts, and document administrations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the living environment and assist with light housekeeping.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition to supervisor promptly.
• Assist other team members and complete required documentation and charting.
• Answer call lights and assist with meals and feeding as needed.

1st Shift is from 7AM to 3PM

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
