Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on support with daily living activities and to follow individualized service plans, promoting safety and dignity. The role involves engaging residents in conversations and daily activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

You will communicate with families and care leaders, and contribute to meaningful experiences for residents, including those in memory care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable with strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and document changes accurately.
• Patient and engaging approach to working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain)
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Pay Range

18.92 - 23.65
