Job summary

A.T. Still University is seeking a full-time Environmental Service Worker on the Mesa, Arizona campus to clean interior areas including classrooms, offices, and labs, with exterior entrance cleaning and event support. Night/weekend coverage may be required. Compensation is hourly and based on experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to move freely around a building, including stairs and ramps.
• Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks without constant supervision.

• Ability to identify and solve problems related to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated interior of building areas, including but not limited to dusting / wiping down surfaces, sinks, counters, desks and fixtures.
• Detail clean restrooms.
• Clean hard surfaces and carpet floors.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
• Re-stock supply carts, closets, and designated areas.
• Move and set up furniture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
