Job summary

A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a full-time General Maintenance Assistant on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This role performs a variety of non-licensed maintenance tasks across buildings and grounds to keep facilities safe and presentable.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, inspecting facilities, coordinating with vendors, and troubleshooting building systems, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues independently or with guidance from supervisors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, students and faculty.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, and lift/carry heavy objects.
• Ability to collaborate with other maintenance staff or contractors.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers or occupants.

Responsibilities

A.T. StillUniversity (ATSU) is seeking a full-time, non-exempt GeneralMaintenance Assistant on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This positionperforms a variety of semi-skilled and skilled non-licensed work inthe maintenance, repair, and restoration of the university'sbuildings and grounds, including but not limited to, minorcarpentry, landscaping, irrigation repairs, painting, plumbing,flooring, and limited heating/air conditioning work. This work willassist in ensuring the safety and general appearance of the campusbuildings and surrounding grounds are maintained in accordance withthe required standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
