Job summary

The University of Notre Dame is seeking a full-time Driver for Three Leaf Catering in the UOES division. Drivers transport equipment, decor, food and beverages across campus, ensuring timely and safe delivery and assisting with setup as needed.

You will work in various campus environments, maintain food safety standards, and collaborate with campus partners to support events. The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Positive, respectful, and committed to delivering excellent service.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to move, lift, and handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain physical activity for extended periods, including driving, walking, and repetitive movements.
• Capable of working in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
• Must strictly adhere to food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute timely deliveries of food service products, catering equipment, and supplies.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store all incoming products within the Center for Culinary Excellence (CCE).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for CCE dock areas and vehicles, adhering to Food Service guidelines.
• Operate CCE equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Work effectively in various CCE environments, including coolers, freezers, and the warehouse.
• Assist in other Food Services areas as needed to support operations.
