Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide quality customer service and maintain department standards. You will maximize sales through friendly, accurate service and ensure proper food handling and sanitation.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing orders, stocking, and following Food Safety guidelines in a fast-paced store environment. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department and maintain standards.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness and deliver fast, friendly service.
• Follow all safety, sanitation and policy guidelines and maintain department cleanliness.
• Process ordering, receiving, preparation and displaying of merchandise per guidelines.
• Complete training and perform other duties as assigned.
