American Senior Communities is seeking a full-time Bus Driver for Community Nursing and Rehab in Indiana. The role delivers transportation to residents for appointments and activities, maintaining safety and a supportive, calming presence on the bus.

Responsibilities include assisting residents, ensuring secure travel, and coordinating with care teams to support residents’ daily schedules. Ideal candidates: 25+ years old with a valid CDL where required and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• CDL license required for communities that have a bus that carries 15 or more passengers.
• Good standing and current Operator’s License.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to and from appointments and activities for residents.
• Safely assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle and ensure secure travel.
• Maintain a safe driving environment and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with staff to support resident well-being and timely transportation.
