Norwell Community School Corporation is seeking a School Bus Monitor/Aide through Applitrack. This full-time position supports student safety on buses and requires a high school diploma or GED, plus CPR/First Aid certification and related training or experience.
Duties include loading/unloading, assisting the driver, and participating in safety drills. Effective communication with students, parents, and school staff is essential, along with the ability to handle diverse student needs and operate
Full-Time position. Works up to 37.5 hours per week.

Monitors conduct of students on school bus to maintain discipline and safety.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with students and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to the Director of Transportation and his/her secretary, principals, faculty, and other employees of the school corporation. Ability to communicate with parents, particularly those with special needs students.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must possess a Red Cross First Aid Certificate and be certified in CPR.
