The University of Tampa invites applications for a non-tenure-track, full-time, renewable teaching position in the Department of Biology starting August 2027. The role focuses on Introductory Biology for science majors (General Biology I & II, lecture and lab) and courses for non-majors, with potential additional assignments as determined by the chair.

The incumbent will primarily teach within the Biology Department, contributing to teaching excellence and service to the university.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in biology or closely related field.
• Prior teaching undergraduate students preferred.
• Personal commitment to quality undergraduate teaching, advising and service.

Responsabilidades

• Teach Introductory Biology for science majors (General Biology I & II, lecture and lab).
• Teach science for non-majors lecture courses.
• Possibly teach other courses as assigned by department chair.
• Teach 27 contact hours per Fall and Spring semesters.
• Engage in department and university service.
