Job summary

The University of Tampa invites applications for a non-tenure-track, full-time, renewable teaching position in biology beginning in August 2027. Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in biology or a closely related field.
• Prior teaching experience with undergraduates is desirable.
• Prior service in an undergraduate biology department is preferred.
• A personal commitment to quality undergraduate teaching, advising, and service to the Department and University is essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach 27 contact hours throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.
• Primary teaching responsibilities in Introductory Biology for science majors and science for non-majors lecture courses, and potentially other courses as assigned by the department chair.
