Doctors On Duty is hiring a full-time Billing Clerk Representative in Monterey, CA. This on-site role supports billing and collections for Cypress Healthcare Partners and its affiliated clinics, handling data entry, communication with patients and insurers, and routine clerical tasks.

You will learn billing procedures, work with EOBs, and maintain accurate account notes while meeting daily productivity standards in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Attain goals set with senior management and Billing/Collection teams.
• Sort daily mail and transmittal mail.
• Prepare mailers and forms for payers/patients.
• Identify patient info on EOBs and amounts billed/paid.
• Stay informed on billing procedure changes affecting processes.
• Distribute patient records and EOBs to staff.
• Handle correspondence from payers.
• Post notations on accounts and document accordingly.
• Ensure accuracy and policy conformance.
