Job summary

Davis Street Community Center is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to join our growing team in San Leandro, CA. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and comprehensive company-paid benefits, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and no weekends or evenings.

The position pays $38–$41 per hour. You will perform psychological evaluations, conduct therapy sessions, coordinate with care teams, document thoroughly, and contribute to quality improvement

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Doctorate from an accredited university.
• AMFT or APCC Licensure: Must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology or able to show proof of pending application; must be eligible for licensure via the BOP or BBS.
• 2 years direct client experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and staff at all levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Makes psychological evaluations of assigned cases; determines diagnostic procedures and tests.
• Meets with clients for regular therapeutic interviews and guides illness understanding and plan development.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and agency-wide training.
• Documents in the medical record per regulatory requirements.
• Maintains records of services and submits activity logs and time sheets.
• Collaborates with other departments for treatment planning and quality improvement.
