Job summary

LearnWell in New Baltimore, Michigan, seeks a full-time teacher to join a behavioral health-focused facility for the school year. You will plan daily lessons, provide individualized student support, and communicate progress with families and staff.

The role involves working with 15–20 students in a small classroom, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:00, with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, healthcare, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Michigan State teaching license.
• Comfortable working with K-12 students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans and provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to promote student success.
• Maintain attendance and session reports.
• Manage class sizes of 15–20 students in a small classroom setting.
