Las Cruces Recovery Center seeks a Behavioral Health Associate I to join our multidisciplinary treatment team onsite in Las Cruces, NM. You will monitor client behaviors, assist in data collection, and respond to crises, ensuring a safe, supportive environment and timely reporting to supervisors.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR and de-escalation training, and at least six months of experience with the population.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience with the population preferred.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities is preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required (training provided upon hire).

Responsabilités

• Maintains a safe, structured, supportive environment and supervises clients.
• Performs safety checks and documents observations for supervisor.
• Donates to accurate client records and reports vital signs or changes to the charge nurse.
• Assists with group activities and therapeutic recreation programs to support treatment goals.
• Provides transfer or transportation coordination as needed.
