Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) is seeking a Behavior Technician for part-time home and community settings in Simi Valley. You will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, across homes, schools, and community environments, gradually building hours toward a full-time schedule.

The role offers paid onboarding, ongoing supervision, and the possibility of growth into full-time BT, lead BT, ABA instructor, ACS, and BCBA roles. No prior ABA experience is required as we train you.

• Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50lbs

Role Overview

You'll work under BCBA supervision to support skill development and positive behavior change-while gradually building experience and hours toward a full-time schedule if desired.

Pay Range

• Hourly Rate:$23.00 - $28.00/hour (based on education and experience)

• Fluency in additional languages
• Advanced certifications or specialized training

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:

• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
• Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
• Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
• Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
• Comfort working across home, school, and community settings
• No prior ABA experience required - we train you
