Skills of Central PA is seeking a full-time Behavior Support Specialist to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in central Pennsylvania.

The role involves developing individualized behavioral guides, data-driven progress monitoring, and training staff and families, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and contributing to ISP planning. Competitive benefits and a supportive work environment offered.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in relevant fields.
• PA Behavior Specialist License or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with ID and/or autism.
• Experience with functional behavioral assessments and positive supports.

Responsibilities

• Develops the behavioral guide with the individual and the team.
• Monitors target behaviors using data charts, spreadsheets, and graphs.
• Trains the individual, staff, and families on the behavioral guide.
• Keeps HIPAA information confidential and adheres to HIPAA provisions.
• Participates in ISP development and outcomes with the team.
• Performs assessment of challenging behaviors via records review, observation, and functional analysis.
