Job description

As Beauty Lead Advisor, you will drive sales through an authentic passion for beauty and engage clients by identifying their needs with a consultative approach. You will maintain expert knowledge of top beauty brands, execute merchandise sets, replenishment, and visual standards according to Sephora at Kohl’s standards, and ensure an excellent overall client experience.

What You’ll Do

1. Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying their needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upselling opportunities.
2. Develop and expand knowledge of the beauty industry.
3. Provide credibility to clients through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
4. Inspire clients by demonstrating products and their application.
5. Understand and execute sales plans to support and meet goals.
6. Maintain all Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards, including merchandise sets, tester maintenance, and department cleanliness.
7. Ensure timely replenishment of the sales floor to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
8. Complete all required training to expand your knowledge.
9. Support omni-channel processing within the department, including inventory management from receipt to sale, freight processing, back stocking, inventory counts, and price changes.
10. Act with integrity and honesty, fostering teamwork in an inclusive culture.
11. Exercise good judgment and make appropriate decisions, involving partners when necessary.
12. Support safety and shortage reduction programs following company guidelines.
13. Manage multiple tasks within established timeframes.
14. Adhere to company policies, procedures, standards, and safety policies.
15. Respond proactively to directions from leaders and other personnel.
16. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

What Skills You Have

Required

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
• Climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull regularly.
• Stand and walk for entire shifts (at least 8 hours).
• Visually verify information, locate, and inspect merchandise.

Pay Range: $19.60 - $27.45. Kohl’s offers benefits including PTO, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, insurance, and support for life events.
