Job summary

Siesta Beach is hiring an entry-level Beach Attendant to help maintain public areas such as beaches, parks, and natural spaces for Sarasota County. The role involves outdoor upkeep, event setup, and record-keeping duties, with a starting pay of $17.69 per hour and benefits beginning within 60 days of hire.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Florida driver’s license. Shift schedules include mornings and afternoons, with weekends required and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License at time of hire.
• Preference for experience with basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain beaches, picnic areas, parking lots, playgrounds, and park facilities.
• Maintain grounds, plant, fertilize, irrigate, and perform routine turf care.
• Operate light landscape equipment and hand tools.
• Keep records and process work orders and maintenance requests.
• Assist with setup for events and break down after functions.
