Job summary

Gulfshoresal in Sarasota, FL is seeking an entry-level Attendant to help maintain Siesta Key Beach. You’ll support events, landscape cleanups, and guest services outdoors. The role starts at $18.57/hr with benefits after 60 days and strong room for growth.

Duties include cleaning beaches and facilities, operating light equipment, tracking inventory, and leading volunteers. Full-time, 40 hours/week with variable shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety checks.

This position starts out paying $18.57/hr; benefits begin within 60 days of hire, and there is plenty of room for both growth and development.

About the Position

About the Schedule

Work Hours:

• Full-Time, 40 hours per week. (Overtime may vary based on the season.)
• Work schedules can vary due to split shifts, rotations, on-call, emergencies, scheduled events, etc.
• Holidays and weekend shifts will be required.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid Florida driver's license.

Preferred ("Bonus") Qualifications:

• Experience with small tools and lightweight maintenance equipment.
• Public Park Restroom, Facility, and Grounds maintenance.

Physical Demands:Employees in this role must occasionally lift and/or move more than50 pounds when using a dolly or cart, or assistance from another team member is available when lifting excessive weight. There is occasionalwork in high, precarious places and occasional work around fumes, airborne particles, and/or toxic/caustic chemicals. This position will require extended periods of outdoor work in all seasons, including high temperatures and inclement weather

Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
