Job summary

Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle is seeking a Full Time Olympic Bar Bartender to join our luxury lobby bar team. You will mix cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, deliver exceptional guest service, and help maintain a polished dining room during busy shifts.

Ideal candidates have high school diploma, 2+ years in high-volume dining, strong wine knowledge, and USA work authorization. The role offers competitive pay of $22.41/hour plus tips, parking discounts, meal breaks, and growth

Qualifications

• At least two years high-volume restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Luxury dining experience preferred.
• General knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
• Working knowledge of wine and wine-pairings; advanced knowledge preferred.

• Create an outstanding dining experience by meeting guests' needs promptly.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages with impeccable presentation.

Olympic Bar, located in the lobby of the historic Fairmont Olympic Hotel, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full Time Bartender to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Create an outstanding dining experience for our guests by ensuring their needs are met promptly
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, with impeccable presentation and attention to detail
• Have an extensive knowledge of all menu items and their preparation
• Take guest orders while making menu recommendations
• Set up and maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Assist with table turnover and maintain a smooth flow of service during peak hours
• Collaborate with colleagues and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least two years high volume restaurant serving experience preferred
• Luxury dining experience preferred
• General knowledge of Alcoholic beverages
• Working knowledge of wine & wine-pairings; Advanced knowledge preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height
