Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle invites applications for a Casual Olympic Bar Bartender. You will join a luxury hospitality team in the lobby-level Olympic Bar, delivering exceptional service and a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding dining experience for our guests by ensuring their needs are met promptly
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, with impeccable presentation and attention to detail
• Have an extensive knowledge of all menu items and their preparation
• Take guest orders while making menu recommendations
• Set up and maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Assist with table turnover and maintain a smooth flow of service during peak hours
• Collaborate with colleagues and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction

Olympic Bar, located in the lobby of the historic Fairmont Olympic Hotel, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Bartender to join our dynamic team. Qualifications

What will you bring to this role?

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least two years high volume restaurant serving experience preferred
• Luxury dining experience preferred
• General knowledge of Alcoholic beverages
• Working knowledge of wine & wine-pairings; Advanced knowledge preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a valid Washington State Alcohol MAST Permit (Class 13)

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height
