Job summary

The St. Joe Company, operating The St. Joe Resort, seeks a bartending professional to deliver high‑quality beverage service in a fast‑paced setting.

You will set up the bar, greet guests, upsell food and drinks, and ensure orders are prepared accurately and promptly. You'll maintain cleanliness, stock, and safety procedures, handle transactions, and collaborate with team members to create a welcoming experience.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak and communicate in basic English preferred.
• CPR certification, Food Handling certification, Alcohol Awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up bar at beginning of shift.
• Pick up and count bank.
• Ensure bar is clean, sanitized and fully stocked.
• Fill and maintain ice wells.
• Greet guests upon arrival and upsell beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout shift.
• Close and break down bar and clean all workspaces.

Job SummaryThe role of a bartender is to provide an above and beyond service experience and to ensure that all guests are served beverages and/or food in a timely, friendly and high-quality way that follows safety procedures for serving alcohol.
