Job summary

Aramark is hiring full-time Baristas for Community Hospital North Starbucks in Indianapolis, IN. You will prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation, and handle orders and payments, delivering memorable customer experiences.

The role emphasizes customer service, cash handling, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality beverage preparation and product standards.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Able to read and communicate in English and able to follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
• Balance cash drawer, complete cashier slips, and make deposits as needed.
• Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and break down coffee bar and stations; clean and sanitize.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and restock as needed.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Support other duties as assigned by management.
